Replacement outdoor sensors
The outdoor sensor is the part that fails first, and it is almost always replaceable. Sensors pair with a console by radio frequency and channel, so the replacement must match the original specification — a 433MHz sensor will not talk to a 868MHz console. If you have the console model number we can confirm compatibility before you order.
Common Oregon Scientific sensors such as the THN132N, THGR122NX and THGN132N are stocked as direct replacements.
Radiation shields and screens
A radiation shield keeps direct sunlight off the temperature and humidity sensor. Without one, readings can run several degrees above true air temperature on a sunny day. Passive multi-plate shields suit most installations; fan-aspirated versions draw air actively across the sensor and are used where accuracy matters most, in research and agricultural work.
Mounting poles and installation kits
Correct siting matters more than the price of the station. Wind sensors should be clear of buildings and trees, ideally 10 metres up. Our mounting poles, brackets and installation kits cover roof, wall, fence-post and free-standing options, with universal kits for stations from any manufacturer.
Spares for older and discontinued models
We keep parts for stations that are no longer sold, and can often source components for older Oregon Scientific, Technoline and Watson equipment. If a search returns nothing, it is worth calling before assuming the part is unavailable.
