Welcome, Weather Underground users. This range brings together every Wunderground compatible weather station we sell — personal weather stations (PWS) that upload your readings automatically so you can share your local conditions with the world and view them from anywhere.
Each station connects to your home network over WiFi or Ethernet and sends live data to your Weather Underground dashboard, with no PC left running. Davis owners can publish via a WeatherLink console or WeatherLink Live; Ecowitt, Bresser and other brands upload directly from their own gateway or console. Once your station ID is registered, wind, rainfall, temperature, humidity and pressure appear on your public dashboard automatically.
Not sure which station suits your site or which upload method you need? Call 01243 558280, use the webchat box, or fill in our contact form and our in-house team will advise.
What is a personal weather station?
A personal weather station, or PWS, is a home or garden weather station that records conditions at your own location rather than a regional forecast point. Connect it to the internet and it becomes part of the Weather Underground network, contributing your readings alongside thousands of other stations worldwide.
How your data reaches Weather Underground
Register a free station ID on the Weather Underground website, enter it into your station's console, app or gateway, and readings upload automatically at regular intervals. Davis stations publish through a WeatherLink Console, WeatherLink Live or a USB data logger. Accur8, Ecowitt, Bresser and similar brands upload directly from their own WiFi gateway or app. No computer needs to stay switched on.
Choosing a Wunderground compatible station
Consider how the station connects, whether WiFi or Ethernet suits your property, how far the sensors sit from the receiver, and whether you want solar-powered outdoor sensors. Accur8 and Ecowitt models offer a straightforward app-based setup at a lower price point, while Davis stations suit those who want research-grade accuracy and long-term reliability. If you plan to add soil, leaf wetness or UV sensors later, choose an expandable model now. Our team can confirm compatibility before you buy.
