WeatherLink Console 6313UK
The current-generation console. A colour touchscreen display that receives from any Davis wireless station or sensor transmitter and uploads to weatherlink.com over Wi-Fi with no separate data logger required. It replaces the original Vantage Pro2 and Vantage Vue displays, and is the right choice for a new installation or for anyone upgrading an older console that has no internet connection. WeatherLink Live 6100
A small bridge unit rather than a display. It receives from up to eight Davis transmitters, uploads every minute over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and pushes data to the WeatherLink app, Weather Underground and third-party services. Choose this when you already have a working console, or where no display is needed at all — a remote site, an outbuilding, or a station feeding a website. View WeatherLink Live 6100.
Data loggers and WeatherLink 2.0 software
For older Vantage Pro2 and Vantage Vue consoles, a data logger plugs into the console and stores readings when the computer is switched off. Supplied with WeatherLink 2.0 software for Windows, which downloads, archives and graphs the data locally. Choose the USB version for any console with a USB port, or the serial port version for older installations. This is the traditional route and remains the cheapest way to get data off an existing console.
WeatherLink Pro and Pro+ subscriptions
The free weatherlink.com account holds recent data. WeatherLink Pro adds full historical records, longer archive intervals, data export and higher upload frequency, available as a one year or three year plan. WeatherLink Pro+ adds the agricultural tools — integrated pest management models, disease and degree-day tracking — for growers and vineyards.
Which do I need?
If you want a display in the house and data online, choose the WeatherLink Console. If you already have a console and only want the data online, choose WeatherLink Live. If you want data on your own PC without a subscription, choose a data logger with WeatherLink 2.0. Add a Pro plan on top of any of these when you need full history and export.
