Gives great protection to sensor

An excellent cover for sensor and built in solar powered fan ensures accurate readings.

Nice piece of kit

Having had various external thermometer sensors damaged because of extreme weather I decided to get the protective cover and go for one with the solar powered fan rather than have a build up of heat. Everything working very well. The item was delivered promptly and well packed. Good to have the dimensions to check whether the sensor would fit.

They're good!

I brought 2, knowing i'd break one. That I did, trying to wasp proof it. Lessons learned, the other one has been fine since. Somepoint before winter sets in, i'll need to replace the batteries in the thermometer remote.

The solar panel keeps it somewhat accurate. Though the location I have mine in is a bad sun trap. There was no alternative. It reads about 2-3C too high in sun.

Dont use outdoor sensor without one!

Great cover. It turned my outdoor sensor from 38⁰c to an accurate 32⁰c. You will not regret getting one of these for any outdoor sensor. I cannot believe how much difference they make to the accuracy. In my opinion your weatherstation is just a toy without one.
