Includes a small LCD display which can be switched to show Fahrenheit or Celsius.

You can add up to 2 additional 30.3242 sensors to your existing TFA HORIZON 35.1155 station.

  • Temperature measurement range: -20 to +60 ยฐC
  • Wall mounting or table display
  • 3 channels selectable
  • Max transmission range: 60 metres in open area
  • 433 MHz RF transmission frequency.

Please note that this sensor is weatherproof as opposed to waterproof and, as such, we recommend positioning it in a sheltered location if mounting outside. You should also take care to mount the unit in a location that is not exposed to direct sunlight in order to ensure a more accurate air temperature reading.

Reliable Temperature Transmission

Does exactly what itโ€™s supposed to do! Handy temperature reading when in the garden and remotely on the weather station. Battery life good.

Working! Took a while to connect

This is a second sensor to add to a recently purchased base station & sensor package. With batteries in, the sensor immediately showed the temperature but the base station wasn't "seeing" it. Pressing the Channel button on the back of the TFA Horizon did nothing. Something I recall reading in the base station handbook made me press the Channel button for 3 seconds and a connection was made. I set the base station to cycle through the two sensors.

So all good, one star deducted for connection issues.

I bought a TFA weather station on ebay. I should have known better! The outdoor sensor was reading 14 degrees celsius when the pond was frozen over. I decided to bite the bullet and ordered a further sensor from WeatherShop. Arrived perfectly packaged and in good time. No communication difficulties - worked "out of the box". The Weather Station is now reliable.

This product is not rain proof and therefore cannot be located out of doors.

The sensor is weatherproof as opposed to waterproof and should be sited in a sheltered location, we have amended the product description to make this clearer.
