The WatchDog 1120 is a high-accuracy, low-maintenance data-logging rain gauge built around a self-emptying tipping-bucket collector. Its 8 in (20.5 cm) diameter collector meets National Weather Service guidelines, and it records rainfall in either metric (mm) or US (in) units so you can match your local reporting standards. The internal logger captures up to 10,584 rain interval events, with recording intervals you can set from 1 to 60 minutes, giving you a detailed long-term picture of precipitation at your site. Powered by a user-replaceable CR2450 battery that lasts around 12 months, it is designed to run reliably with very little attention. The gauge ships with its mounting bracket and hardware for quick installation, and works with SpecWare 9 Basic or Pro software (v9.4 or later) for downloading and analysing your data.
