EnviroMonitor is a revolution of precision agriculture: it gathers intelligence by measuring, monitoring and managing critical field data related to climate, irrigation, and crop production. Add almost any sensor you choose to suit your needs and microclimate. Sensor data is gathered over a secure, self-optimising, self-healing network.
An EnviroMonitor System includes a Gateway and a number of Nodes, each with up to four sensors that form an advanced mesh network operating at 868 MHz. The Nodes transmit the sensor data to either the Gateway or another Node. The IP Gateway then securely sends the data via Wi-Fi (or optional Ethernet) connection to your account at WeatherLink.com.
Each Gateway can receive from 20 or more Nodes. Additional Gateways can be added to your account to receive data from another set of Nodes. A Davis wireless or cabled Sensor Suite can also be plugged into the IP Gateway.
Requires an annual service plan and one-time hardware activation fee (see below).
Building an EnviroMonitor system is simple:
- Add EnviroMonitor Node(s)
- Select a wireless or cabled weather station sensor suite
- Select additional sensors to build your custom sensor network to monitor, measure, and manage the field data that is important to you (also compatible with a growing range of third-party sensors - talk to us for details).
