DataScout Model Cellular Modem (LTE-M Modem - Global)
The DataScout Cellular Modem (LTE-M, global) connects your WatchDog Retriever or WatchDog 2000 Series weather station to the web, communicating all of your data automatically via the cellular network. Simple single-button operation lets you test communications, pair with a station and check battery status, while tri-coloured LEDs give an at-a-glance indication of battery level, data communication and wireless signal. A DC port accepts an optional AC/DC power adapter (max 17VDC), and the modem can also be run from the Solar Power Package (item SI-3999). A SIM card is included; a cellular data plan and a connection to SpecConnect are required and sold separately. It is an easy way to move your field data to the cloud, so you can view current conditions and historical reports from anywhere without visiting the station to download manually.
