The Bresser 15243 4CAST SG is a Wi-Fi weather station that joins a Tuya smart home, so your heating, fans, blinds or lights can react to real conditions rather than a timer. A 20.8cm display shows indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity with a comfort indicator alongside a five-day forecast with daily highs, lows and UV index, pulled from the internet rather than guessed from a barometer. The supplied wireless thermo-hygro sensor reports from up to 80m and carries its own readout, and up to three can be paired. The Tuya Smart Life app adds history charts, temperature alerts and remote alarm setting.
Note: the base station runs from the included mains adapter with a CR2032 backup battery supplied, and the sensor's 2x AAA batteries are included, so nothing further is needed. Wi-Fi, the forecast, history charts and smart home triggers all require a 2.4GHz network and a free Tuya Smart Life account. Smart home automation depends on your other devices being Tuya compatible.

What separates this from a conventional station is that it is a smart home device first.
