The ACCUR8 YD8230A-4UK-BL is a colour wireless weather forecast station and barometer, also featuring radio-controlled clock, sunrise & sunset times, and moon phase. Plus indoor and outdoor temperature & humidity (via the included remote sensor). The time is automatically kept accurate as it receives the MSF UK radio-controlled time signal.

A Super Display that is full of fascinating information

The display is bright and clear and shows a wealth of details that are interesting to see. Sunrise and sunset times, radio controlled time display, barometric pressure with recent levels shown, indoor temperature and humidity and outdoor temperature and humidity and the phase of the moon. No information from outdoor sensor

The outdoor temperature and humidity sensor failed to send its temperature or the base station failed to receive it - there was no information in the display about outdoor temperature and humidity. I have sent it back for repair

This is a good unit, the one reservation concerns having to use the button on top to see the data, which would benefit from a longer duration - as received the display disappears too quickly.

Information on Max/Min readings feature

Prospective purchases should be aware, as it is not mentioned in the product description, “Max/Min recording of temperature and humidity (indoor & outdoor)” are only for that day and up to the time when reading, as the max/min values reset every midnight. Therefore it is not possible to read max/min values for a longer period eg a few days or a week. Also you will miss the true max or min for the day, if it occurs between reading and midnight.

I found it a bit confusing at first but after a while I got my head around it, at first I thought the weather picture was showing rain/snow all the time but I was wrong! The weather at the time is illuminated brightly while the rest is dull, so yes, it is very good and accurate, so yes I would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends
