Keeping your Hamster’s cage the optimum temperature is essential to ensuring they remain comfortable and healthy.
It is recommended a hamster cage should be between 20 – 22°C. If the cage reaches below 15 °C, it can cause your furry friend to go into hibernation, which in captivity can be very dangerous for them.
As we draw into the winter months it is important you regularly check the temperature of your cage. With this digital thermometer you can easily do this by placing it next to the cage or even inside the cage (away from where your pet may be able to reach it).
It’s easy to use with a large on/off button on the back and a hook, making it ideal for mounting onto a cage, especially one with wire on the top or sides.
