The ACCUR8 A8-TX16-2 is a replacement outdoor temperature and humidity sensor for the ACCUR8 YD8230A-4-BL and YD8230A-4UK-WH weather stations. It features an LCD screen that displays the current temperature and humidity at the sensor location.

Designed for wall mounting or free-standing table display, it transmits readings wirelessly to the base station and carries an IP44 water-resistance rating for protection against rain and splashes.

Note: This sensor is for replacement purposes only. The ACCUR8 YD8230A-4-BL and YD8230A-4UK-WH weather stations can only accept one A8-TX16-2 sensor.

Replacement outside sensor

A replacement sensor was sent, at no cost, after the original sensor had failed. The new sensor is working properly. I would like to thank Weathershop for responding promptly, and would recommend it for anyone thinking of buying meteorological equipment.

This was a replacement sensor sent by the Weathershop when the one that arrived with the weather station was faulty. Their service was excellent and the replacement sensor is working well.

Replacement outside sensor

The outside sensor was replaced becsuse it was 'eating' batteries. This new one shows 1 degree difference in temperature so don't know which one is right. Too soon to determine battery usage.
