Explore Scientific WSH4008 Weather Forecast Station & Barometer with High/Low Temperature Alerts

Once I was informed that it got its signal from Germany, I managed to sort out the random time appearing on the screen. Working perfectly now.

I like the size, the colourful display and animations. The temperature and weather predictions aren't correct most of the time but it is a bargain price so you can't expect too much. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend though as it also has an alarm

Disappointed that the display only comes on when you press the button Unless we have not got the settings right???

Our previous one had a permanent display showing, easier to glance at while working or passing the windowsill where it sits.

Works well once you know how to set the time zone.

Like all the information provided, but would prefer screen to be all the time, rather than shutting down after a few seconds. Found it a bit difficult to set up.

I am pleased with the weather station which does everything it claims to do though perhaps the weather-forecast indication is not totally accurate some of the time. The time initially displayed is European time but this can be easily changed in the initial setup by offsetting the displayed time of '-1' (hour) which it remembers from then on.

I was very pleased with Weather Shop who were very friendly and helpful and my weather station arrived promptly once ordered.

I found it difficult to set up, but I managed it eventually. Then the next day it had defaulted to 2 hours ahead of GMT and some of the LED display is not working properly. I have contacted the shop and am waiting for a response.

I like the unit and functions well, with a few caveats. The inside temperature reads a bit high--it is between .5 and 1C above the actual temperature (especially when set on the highest brightness), the outside unit is quite accurate. The barometer cannot be adjusted according to elevation so its readings are not true, however, it reads changes in pressure accurately; and as a result, the mini forecast icon is surprisingly good. It looks really nice and is fully readable in a bright room. On mains power it has 3 brightness settings, with one basically off. I have not used it with battery power. It has a time zone setting, so can be adjusted to UK time, even though it gets the time pulse from CET. I recommend it, nice looking and functional. Time will tell how durable, especially the longevity of the outside sensor.

Think this product was made in Germany/ Europe hence when setting the device up by the instructions(not needed though) The time zone for UK = UTC 00 but one needs to go -1 to enable the clock to function to the current time otherwise if left a 00 at midnight it will advance 1 hour.

I like the device although I only use it as a guide device in the Lounge, I use a Davis weather station for all my records

Bought as present for my son and he is very happy with it.

Bought as a Christmas present once we worked out how to use it it seems pretty accurate . Hubby likes it .

Nice display. Relatively straightforward to set up although setting the local time to GMT via the atomic clock was a little confusing.

I bought my WSH4008 with one outdoor sensor. Be aware that if you decide to buy an additional sensor at a later date you may find them hard to find seperatly as I did from anywhere using Google. The Weathershop didn't have them in stock and advised it would be in the New Year sometime !!
